9 Campervans under 6m that have a toilet & shower

If you’re looking for a campervan that’s easy to drive, easy to park, and still has its own bathroom, you’ve probably discovered it’s not as easy as it sounds.

Plenty of campervans are under six metres long…

…and plenty have a bathroom…

…but finding one that has both narrows the field considerably.

So I used the Australian RV Directory and filtered down to every campervan and searched for the models under 6 metres with a bathroom.

I found around 15 that met the criteria, but several were closely related models from the same manufacturers. So for this post, I’ve picked 9 campervans from 9 different manufacturers to give you a good overview of what’s available.

We’ll compare their layouts, prices and chassis, and hopefully help you narrow down your shortlist.

Let’s get into it.

Jacana Envy

We’ll start with the Jacana Envy.

Built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter medium wheelbase chassis, it comes in at 5.932m long and starts from $219,000.

Inside you’ll find one of the more familiar campervan layouts.

There’s a fixed east-west bed across the rear, with a combined shower and toilet beside it.

The Jacana also offers an optional four-seat layout, which gives you additional travelling seats, although it does mean the bathroom becomes a little smaller.

If you like the simplicity of a fixed bed and not having to make your bed every night, this is a nice layout.

LDV Deliver 9 Campervan Series 2

Next is the LDV Deliver 9 Campervan Series 2.

Also measuring 5.94 metres, this one starts from $102,990, making it one of the more affordable campervans on today’s list.

Instead of a fixed bed, the rear lounge converts into either a large double bed or two single beds.

The bathroom is a combined shower and toilet, tucked neatly into the middle of the van.

The benefit of this layout is that you get a generous living area during the day.

The trade-off is, of course, making the bed each evening.

Snowy River Caravans SRV-19

If the layout of the LDV above looked familiar, that’s because the Snowy River SRV-19 is remarkably similar.

It’s also built on the LDV Deliver 9 chassis…

It’s also 5.94 metres long…

…and it also uses the rear lounge that converts into either a double or two singles, along with a combined bathroom.

Pricing starts from $109,990.

So if you’re comparing these two, it’ll probably come down to the finer details, inclusions and whichever brand you prefer.

Avan Applause 500

Next up is the Avan Applause 500.

Built on the Fiat Ducato long wheelbase chassis, it’s 5.98 metres long.

One thing that stands out is that it can seat up to four people.

There’s a fixed east-west bed across the rear…

…and unlike many campervans this size, the ensuite manages to keep the shower separate from the toilet, which is a rare perk for such a small van.

Avan doesn’t list pricing on their website, but I found a new 2026 model advertised from $149,995.

Auto-Trail 2026 Expedition 66

Our fifth campervan is the Auto-Trail Expedition 66.

Again built on the Fiat Ducato, it squeezes in just under the limit at 5.99m.

Pricing starts from $182,990.

Like a couple we’ve already seen, the rear seating converts into either a king-sized bed or two singles.

If you like having a spacious lounge during the day, this style of layout could suit you well.

Trakka Akuna A2M

My favourite layout in today’s list is by Trakka in their Akuna A2M

It’s built on the Volkswagen Crafter medium wheelbase chassis, measures 5.99m, and starts from $206,965.

Instead of choosing between a fixed bed or a rear lounge…

…Trakka has done something quite clever.

The north-south bed remains permanently made up…

…but the lower section has been opened up to create a small dining area.

It means the same space serves two purposes without needing to convert your bed every day.

I think that’s a really smart use of space.

And if you head off the beaten track, there’s also an optional four-wheel-drive version available.

Adria Twin

The Adria Twin is another Fiat Ducato-based campervan, measuring 5.998m.

Outside front view of a white Adria Twin camper van.

It seats four people and uses a fairly traditional layout.

There’s a fixed east-west bed across the rear…

…and a combined shower and toilet beside it.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find current Australian pricing, but if you’re looking for 4 seater campervans, Adria is another one worth looking at.

EmuRV E2S

Next is the EmuRV E2S.

Again based on the Fiat Ducato and measuring 5.998 metres, prices start from $146,940.

This uses another convertible rear lounge that forms either a king bed or two singles.

EmuRV also offers a fixed-bed option, and because both front seats swivel, your main dining area can be moved forward into the cab.

That gives buyers a little more flexibility depending on how they travel.

Horizon Melaleuca

Finally we have the Horizon Melaleuca.

Also on the Fiat Ducato long wheelbase chassis and measuring 5.998 metres, pricing starts from $155,500.

One feature I really like is that buyers have a choice.

You can have two single beds in the rear…

…or choose an east-west double bed with a small two-person dining area.

That flexibility means couples can pick whichever layout suits their style of travelling.

So those are 9 campervans under 6 metres with a bathroom that I found in the Australian RV Directory.

There are not too many layout options when you’re working with such a small space and there are really just three different approaches manufacturers have taken.

Some prioritise a permanent bed…

Some maximise daytime living space with a convertible rear lounge…

And others, like Trakka, have come up with some clever hybrid solutions that try to give you the best of both worlds.

If you’d like to compare these campervans alongside hundreds of other campervans and motorhomes, you’ll find them all in the Australian RV Directory – Campervans & Motorhomes edition.

And I’d love to know—which one would you choose?
